Synchronizing Requirements between departments or partners
The use of requirements management software applications helps many organizations document and trace requirements through design and production.
When departments manage requirements in different systems, organisations often experience problems with requirements synchronization. For example, the marketing department may manage their requirements in DOORS® while the development department manage theirs using RequisitePRO™. This is not a problem when departments work independently, but today, this is not the case. Requirements created by the marketing department are usually further elaborated by the development department in order to identify solutions.
