The Share-A-space Web Services offer is extended with support for PLM Services 2.0 from OMG. Thereby, Share-A-space will support Web Services defined both by OASIS and OMG, which is unique.

SOA, Service Oriented Architecture, has rapidly become the preferred way of software application integration in large and medium sized enterprises. A key factor for successful SOA implementations is building them on a foundation of efficient and internationally recognized standards.

By extending the already comprehensive information hub technology in Share-A-space with PLM Services 2.0, an important step is taken to successfully link information in the design engineering domain to in-service information, using the cross information domain consolidation mechanisms within Share-A-space. Besides bridging different domains Share-A-space provides an obvious common ground as integration solution in many industries such as automotive, aerospace and defence as well as high tech electronics.
