As part of a series of online spotlights organised by PI DX this year, Eurostep is sponsoring and presenting at the first spotlight of the year – “PLM Integration”. This spotlight is a way for manufacturers to deep dive into specialised sessions with other focused professionals.

PLM Integration Spotlight

There is a wide consensus that the integration of data, processes, and tools drives efficiency and facilitates innovation across enterprises. PLM allows companies to consolidate and manage their own data; but the challenge which holds companies back is that of successfully integrating disparate systems and flows of information.

To what extent do you need integration and how can you really achieve an end-to-end PLM process? This spotlight will explore common pain points and how – through blood, sweat, and tears – companies may embrace integrated PLM solutions and thereby transform their operations

The sponsored case study will be about the integration and benefits of ShareAspace in two different customer cases, presented by Eurostep’s Chair of Technical Fellows, Nigel Shaw, at 4.10 pm (GMT).

Sponsored Case Study: PLM and Product Data Integration Across The Life Cycle and Across the Supply Chain

The design, development and support of products in areas such as energy, defence, aerospace has always involved partners and suppliers. It also involves different classes of enterprise application, such as PLM and ERP. There has to be controlled data sharing that connects internally and works externally with the extended enterprise, including the customer.

– Ensuring trusted data is available to and from external companies, as well as across disciplines inside OEMs

– Use of collaborative hub for PLM data driven collaboration

– Controlling the hand over from build to support for large systems

Eurostep will be presenting amid other presentations from Mettler-Toledo International, Inc, Tenneco Inc., TERMA Group, GE Aviation, Briggs & Stratton and Rolls-Royce.
